I loved this episode. All the actors did a pretty good job. I especially enjoyed Chi and Alex doing their thing. What a difference the ‘McGrover’ is.

The pace getting quicker was so well done. The kinda frantic camera work, the actors talking faster and faster – all this made the audience feel the urgency. Perfect.

Another thing I noticed was that Jerry and Duke are calling their friend, Steve, ‘Commander’ in public. That’s respect and being professional. Little details but so important.

The ending was wonderful. Shawn Garnett has a wonderful voice.

  5. Well I have to say this was very welcome as I sit inside watching the earth get a coating of white stuff. H 5-0 is my escape when in a deep freeze. I definitely need a McHug. I fear I must repeat myself but you have once more done a great job. Love the salad and donuts pic and I have admired that man’s lashes since Moonlight. Thanks for the bright spot in my snowy day.

    I loved the theme. I loved McG’s and the whole team’s strident acceptance and defense of all, and celebration of life itself. If only all cops could be like this.

    I loved McG’s reference to his someday children, and I love how you acknowledged it. When, not if!
