Ka hale ho’okauweli – On Halloween, Five-0 investigates the murder of a medium with a checkered past who was apparently scared to death by a poltergeist. Also, Kono and Adam are kidnapped by what appears to be a death cult, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.
“Ka hale ho’okauweli” is Hawaiian for “House of Horrors”
Huh, another kidnapping? Guess Hawaii really is a dangerous place. 😉
Hopefully, at the end of this episode we will get a promo for 7.07 !!

I always love the Halloween episode! Kono and Adam can’t get a break !

I usually like the Halloween episodes but this one sounds boring. Kono and Adam kidnapped again boring. There will be too much Jerry and Eric as well in this episode. I don’t think there will be much of Alex as he and the family went away for a few days while this was being filmed saw photo’s of them at San Francisco airport in the middle of filming this episode. Looks like the story is about Kono and Adam and how to find them.

Without reviewing each episode from, S1 thru the first 4 Episodes of S7, I am unable to say, with a reasonable degree of certainty, how many kidnappings have occurred on this show, nor am I sure I have enough Tums in my house to deal with this info, should anyone actually know.
Is the endgame for Adam and Kono the witness protection program?

Someday, we need to determine Endgame for all the regular cast so we can “suggest” them to PL. We are the “true fans”, watching from day 1, and since we are his BFF’s, he listens to everything we say, and executes our wishes without question.

Oh, are you sure? Should we just let go of “our” relationship and move on? I fear its time for us to face reality, unless we wish to leave him, lie to him and hurt his feelings terribly. Why, he deserves a better fandom, like the ones who watch MacGyver. He should never take us back. He’s not a doormat and……………wait, I may have some of this confused with another show.

Yes, they did but it was an episode planned around letting the fans choose among several different of the writers “suggestions” in what I thought was pretty much a gimmick. The fans do not get to choose the direction of the story. PL has made it very clear that it is his show and that he makes the decisions. I cannot fault that.

While I happen to like Kono and Adam most of the time, the writers are doing their best to make me dislike their story. Couldn’t they just have a quiet Halloween with the only drama being the trick or treaters interrupting their reunion? Why a kidnapping? It comes off forced. I am looking forward to Max’s costume this year.

Maybe it’s Steve who kidnaps them, desguised as a vampire because Halloween (for some very weird reason he found some costumes in his closet, including white contact lenses). He takes them to the forest/jungle/woods and then ducttapes Adam and locks him up in a shed lined with plastic foil.
Then Steve has a serious talk with Kono. About real men vs. wimps, altruistic NavySEALs vs. scullery wusses, saviors vs. losers. And Kono develops Stockholm syndrome and all is right in my world.
We never ever hear about Adam again but sometimes at Halloween children hear a light, whiny whimpering coming out of a shed deep deep in the forest/jungle/woods. Danny wants Steve and 5-0 to investigate but Steve winks at Kono and says: “Na, we’re good. Fairy tails.”
So Danny goes aaalllll alone…

saw 2 things on twitter that are apropos here. 1. Leni, I believe, suggested that the H50 task force be implanted with gps trackers, like the MI6 agent on NCIS and 2. 7.06 is the ep with the 7.07 promo at the end. Kudos to these observant people. Seriously, kidnapping again. They need to move on to the next chapter in the writer’s handbook.

The trackers may not prevent this “elite” task force from being kidnapped but it should make it easier to find them. I too will look forward to the best part of this episode being the promo for 7.

I already feel a yawn coming on while watching this episode. I hope Alex and his family had a good time on the mainland but when Steve is “light” in the show, it generally is ho hum for me. Throw in a kidnapped Adam and Kono and there’s another yawn. Its Halloween, so mix in Danny’s crisis with his kids and you get another one. I might be asleep before this is over. Oh, wait… previews for 7.07. I will be wide awake!

We will see Max again, so that will be nice. But I’m afraid that will be it. I’m not a big fan of Halloween episodes since I think the holiday is rather stupid. No offense. 🙂

I actually agree with you on this point. Not my favorite holiday. Peter Lenkov LOVES Halloween and the gorier the better in his opinion. I look forward to the humorous parts.

I can’ stand Halloween. For reasons like that of it being a Satanic holiday but love the candy LOL. But really need to quit with the kidnappings. This is getting old. Running out of material!
