Thanks to BeeM for the link. You’re the best. 🙂
And thanks to CBS for the info on the upcoming show.
“Ka Haunaele” – While Five-0 investigates the theft of a high tech, indestructible suit built for the U.S. military, Jerry helps his sister try to save a captive elephant, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. NFL players and brothers Michael Bennett (Seattle Seahawks) and Martellus Bennett (New England Patriots) guest star as themselves.

Huh, do I want to see Jerry running after an elephant? Nope, I don’t think so. 😉

Hmmm… a couple of disturbing things: First, Jerry has a sister and second, Eric Russo is back. I was so hoping he was history. Regardless, I am anxious for next week and a new episode!

But maybe we will see Steve in that indestructable suit. 🙂

he really could be a Super Hero! 🙂

He already is! Even though they haven’t written stories to show him off that way lately.

Convenient, isn’t it, that Jerry has a sister? I’m pretty sure she’s gorgeous, too.

Wow. Jerry has a sister. Kono has parents. Danny has a kid he didn’t know about. What next?

um… those two came from the same branch of the tree???

Yea, I am so ready to believe that they are related. Now that is true fiction.

There’s a rule that unattractive females aren’t allowed to be on the show.

Maybe Steve’s mom isn’t really dead. Oh, wait…

Oh and I think the elephant story is supposed to pay some sort of homage to Tyke, the famous elephant of Hawaii. 🙂

LOL! I assume Tyke was only famous IN Hawaii? Or am I somehow outta the elephant loop? 😆

While they never explicitly said Jerry was an only child, I guess I took it that way with him being holed up in his mother’s house when we first met him. But maybe his sister is a total opposite–party girl, moved to a college party town, etc. That storyline doesn’t sound terribly enticing but who knows. Maybe it will be interesting.
I’m more interested in seeing if they maximize the military story angle.

I really don’t need a Jerry story as much as I believe that he can be used well in small doses. And why can’t we have Fong back??? Eric was funny in the first episode he was in but beyond that he is a pain. Why does PL love him? I really, really hope the Jerry part is small and the episode focuses on the main storyline.

Wished Fong was back. But heard that the actor got a new role or something like that.

Julie Benz (Abby) has a new show too. So, looks like Abby may be gone to girlfriend heaven..

Well good for him for getting a new role but it sure sucks not to have him in the crime lab.

Whhhhyyyyyyyy? Why are they now taking the third string characters and giving them fourth string familiars to interact with? This show is supposed to be about McG and his task force! But McG’s story and his family and life-love are rarely ever even mentioned and even more rarely actually seen! In fact they killed off yet ANOTHER McGarrett this season! We can’t even find out what’s up with his almost-wife/GF, mother, and sorta-adopted son, but Danno’s constantly growing frikkin family has been in several shows this season, Chin’s BIL is now a ridiculous BigBad who rules Hawaii 🙄 and Kono’s hubs is a freakin semi-regular who often gets more screen time than she does. And now the extras get subplots? I don’t wanna meet any more Kame cousins or Max girlfriends or Jerry siblings! WTH, H50????? No! Just. No. 😡

Totally, TOTALLY agree with every freaking word.

And now, giant animals get more storyline than McG too.

I hope Adam re-joins the Yakuza and Kono quits the task force to become his enforcer. At least it will be unexpected, (I think).
BTW, when Chin meets Jerry’s sister is he going to call her “thumb worthy” or have they tumbled to the fact that that is vulgar? Probably not.

Yes, Jerry’s “sister” is suppose to be studying to be a lawyer at Stanford too! A lot of fiction in this episode. LOL
Jerry, his sister, Eric, Max, Kamekona, and that whole crew are suppose to work together to help the elephant.

I so want to ask PL when and why he made the decision to turn this show into a farce. It’s annoying and disappointing when it could’ve really BEEN something. I think either he writes himself into corners (or lets his crack writing team do it) and then he can’t figure out how to get out of them, so he just… bails on the storylines. Then, left with no actual direction, he pumps out this drivel.

I can appreciate the rigors of writing for series television and I’m sure it’s not easy. But at this point, they’ve had more than enough time to sort themselves out and get back on track…but they’re not.
