The last week of filming was a great week for BTS pics.

Cast and crew wrapped season 4 on Friday. The second unit will need a few more days to finish filming, and then there, of course, is some ADR work to be done in the coming weeks.
It is finally official. CBS announced their renewed programs for 2014/15.

The next two days will be filled with the CBS Press Tour in Los Angeles.
Even though none of the stars will be in L.A. I think it’s a good indication for a season 5 that they will show a part about the making of the show. CBS would not invest in this if season 4 would be the last season.
With a bit of luck there might even be some early announcements. Yeah, not gonna happen, I know. 😉

This time he didn’t tell what episode. Maybe when he gives us more he will say.
After Peter Lenkov confirmed that we will only get 22 episodes this season, now
Jeffrey Hunt twittered that they started filming 4.16 today. Just seven more episodes to go for them. I wonder when their hiatus will start this year. Earlier than usual probably.
First I was a bit sad about just 22 episodes, and even though I’m a firm believer in a season 5 (and even beyond that), it still got me wondering why CBS cut the season short after anouncing 24 episodes earlier. If it gives the actors more time to do other stuff, and the writers to come up with such great stories as they did so far, and if we will get a season 5, well, than I’m all for it.
As Alex said 24 eps are way too many. 😉 Well, Alex, not in our books.
But I’m happy for them to get off early.

Peter Lenkov and Larry Teng shared a lot of pictures from filming episode 4.10 on twitter with us.
It looks really great, I just hope that there will still be plenty of Five-0 in it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure this will be another spectacular episode, I’m just not too keen on watching a flashback episode with none of the main actors in it. So, I hope they will balance it out well. Knowing them though, they probably will.
They are almost done filming 4.10 as Larry Teng told today.

Yeah, you read it right. Alex had a session with us last night on twitter. And it seems he enjoyed it. Don’t get your hopes up though, I’m sure you won’t see him there again any time soon. 🙂
I couldn’t watch the show live, which I normally do in the middle of the night. But I stayed up until past 4 a.m. anyway, because I had so much fun with all you guys. I hope everyone enjoyed the night and of course the season opener. Which I think was beyond amazing. Watch out for the review coming this weekend here on MostlyFive0.

And of course a huge Mahalo to Alex O’Loughlin for giving interviews even though he just got in and saw the studio for the first time. Even though the microphone was showed into his face as he had barely stepped into the studio he again was very humble, fun, entertaining and interesting. Telling us that he still felt more like a fan than being on the ‘inside’. He looked like a fan taking it all in, and seemed pretty impressed with everything. How down to earth is that guy? Very refreshing, and I guess one of the reasons why we love him.
Also Mahalo Daniel Dae Kim for stepping in and entertaining us with your interview and inside info about the former use of the studio.
Of course also Mahalo to all the other cast and crew. I’m sure the one or other interview with Michelle Borth or other members of the team will surface in the next days.
