LD – Let’s forget that ever happened?

LetsDiscuss

Do you remember way back in Season 3 when the team referred to Magnum as a TV show? Even back then I thought that was an odd thing to do; I mean with being a reboot of a well known TV-show itself. I thought, someday it will bite them in the ass. 😉

And now we will get the crossover Five-0/Magnum on January 3rd. Of course, some fans see that as a big problem.

Personally, I couldn’t care less about that problem. I actually think it’s laughable with all the other problems like lack of continuity and dropped characters on this show.

Magnum has really grown on me, and I enjoy it very much. I am looking forward to the cross-over.

So, how about you? Is this reference from years ago bothering you now? Or do you ignore such things?

And what would you like to forget it ever happened on the show?

LD – Spoilers, yes or no?

LD-Pic

With the highly anticipated 10.07 just hours away, it’s time to talk about spoilers.

Do you want them, or do you like to be surprised?

Well, honestly, I am ambivalent about them. On one hand, I am perfectly fine with general spoilers. For example, like Doris will be in the episode.

But I don’t want to know what will happen in detail. Yes, I do know about the leaked pages, but truly hope they were leaked on purpose. As a red herring.

I never watch the sneak peeks, and I try to avoid the promos as much as possible. I like to be surprised. I guess it also depends on the mood; sometimes I like them better than not. 😉

It’s very difficult to give the viewers enough so that they want to watch, without spoiling the fun. Unfortunately, CBS is very bad in finding that balance. 😉

So, how do you handle spoilers? Do you seek them out, or are you mad when you stumble upon them by mistake?

Alex O’Loughlin Reveals Why He’s Changing His Tune About Leaving ‘Hawaii Five-0’

Alex O’Loughlin is adding another title to his all-encompassing Hawaii Five-0 resume.

The 41-year-old star, who has valiantly led the Five-0 team as Steve McGarrett, makes his directorial debut with Friday’s season eight episode of the CBS action drama, stepping behind the camera for the first time in his career.

In the installment, titled “E Ho’Oko Kuleana (To One’s Duty),” the ex-wife of the man who shot Danny (Scott Caan) in an early season eight episode finds her way to Oahu, kicking off a slew of flashbacks to a time when the actions of a younger Danny, living in New Jersey at the time, helped save her life. While Danny’s past comes back to roost, Tani (Meaghan Rath) and Junior (Beulah Koale) patrol the island, providing levity to an action-packed hour, and Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) is framed for the murder of the crime boss he’s been hot on the heels of.

Ahead of the episode’s premiere, ET jumped on the phone with O’Loughlin for a candid conversation about his directorial debut, why he’s backtracking on comments he made about his desire to step away from Hawaii Five-0 after the current season and the “trickiest” part about directing himself.

My thoughts are at the end of the interview. Also the link to the original site at the end of the interview.

8.20 First Look

H50-8-20-002

Michelle Borth is set to make her triumphant return to Hawaii Five-0 in the April 13 episode — and EW has the exclusive first look.

In a Romancing the Stone-esque hour, Lt. Catherine Rollins (Borth) recruits McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) and Jerry (Jorge Garcia) — doing his best Indiana Jones — to help her track down a uranium deposit thought to be hidden on an abandoned Hawaiian island, leading them to a suspected terrorist who is plotting to make dirty bombs with it.

Thank you to Entertainment Weekly for the first pictures for episode 8.20. I couldn’t be happier to see Lt. Rollins on my screen again.

Not just because I think she and Steve are perfect together, but because she’s an awesome character all on her own.

Bring it on. First episode this season that I am looking forward to.

“Aohe mea make i ka hewa; make no i ka mihi ole” – A hitman, Leroy Davis (Frankie Faison), McGarrett’s father failed to arrest comes to McGarrett to finally confess his crimes and admit where he buried his victims. Also, Jessie makes a dangerous decision that could ruin Adam’s life, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Mixed martial arts fighter Max Holloway also guest stars.

(“Aohe mea make i ka hewa; make no i ka mihi ole is Hawaiian for “No One Has Ever Died For the Mistakes He Has Made; Only Because He Didn’t Repent”)

Pictures are up. Thanks to SpoilerTV.

And I love this one. He leans like Steve, and looks like John McGarrett. Great job.
