4.19 Ku I Ka Pili Koko translated by CBS to Blood Brothers

Ku I Ka Pili Koko” – Five-0 is set up when a bad tip leads them to an abandoned building that is rigged to explode with McGarrett and Danny trapped inside, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 11

So, this show was named the bromance episode of the season. Even Peter Lenkov called it a McDanno episode. Which I think was not a clever move. If the definition of McDanno is the same as the one for McRoll, well, I’m sorry, but that McDanno is just not there. And never will be. Those two guys will never end up in a romantic relationship.

If your definition of McDanno is friendship and partnership between Steve and Danny, than I’m all with you.

But really, Mr. EP, please don’t feed the haters on either side. It’s bad enough as it is. People are hurting, don’t fuel the fire.

That said, let’s see what this episode brought us. Was it satisfying for all sides? All the shippers and non-shippers out there?

Edit April 21: You know, I really wished that people who vote an episode as really to forget about it had the balls to tell us why! I’m always interested in knowing why people like or more so don’t like something. Why not voice your opinion? Nobody here is going to harass you for it. Everyone is welcome to share their view. That is what this blog is all about. If you don’t like something… say so.

Still not shaved off ;-)

As I said to Cokie, this year, with a wife and three kids the hair will not be shaven off. I should go and collect my win. 😉

A very cool Alex sighting by Miss Hawaii. Thank you for sharing. And thank you Alex for being a good sport and letting her take that picture, fully knowing it would end up all over the place. I love it that he’s so relaxed and cool about this.

… Soooo last night while I was dancing at the Halekulani I walked by a private party that didn’t have any live entertainment. Not knowing whose party it was, I offered to dance a hula for them and they graciously accepted. Come to find out it was Alex O’loughlin’s family function!!  I’ve never been so nervous to dance a hula in my LIFE!!! Clearly you can tell from this pic that I was star struck lol. Such a nice guy and beautiful family. It was an honor. Do something nice for others and good things will come to you! #alexoloughlin#hawaii50 #mcgarrett #bigfan #misshawaii#halekulani…

Skyler and Alex

Yes, I know there is at least one more, but I don’t think that one was authorized by Alex, so I won’t post it here.

Spoiler for 4.22

According to TV Guide:

. . . The usually straight-laced Grover will steal from McGarrett’s playbook when his daughter is kidnapped in the season finale. “As renegade and out of control as [Grover] thought McGarrett was in the [season premiere], he goes even further in this one,” executive producer Peter Lenkov says. “He doesn’t have a free pass like Five-0 does, so there’s going to be consequences. [But] sometimes you have to turn the badge around to get the job done.” Fortunately, I hear the consequences have a silver lining that will play out next season. . . .

PLEASE let Grover join Five-0. I would love to see him and Steve together. That way SC could leave even more. I have heard he has a new movie role for later this year. I would be jumping for joy about this.

In case you wondered about the review for 4.19 – it will come later this week.

Ratings 4.19

Guess people had better things to do than watch TV live.

The ratings will improve over the next seven days though.

Everyone will come up with their own little explanation why the ratings are down, not just for H50. So feel free to associate this to certain things on the show or not. Ratings are a funny thing, up and down is normal, to a certain point. Let’s hope they will do better next week.

4.18 Ho’I Hou translated by CBS to Reunited

Five-0 investigated the murder of a woman killed with a stiletto high heel at Chin’s high school reunion.

Hawaii Five-0” viewers chose from a menu of key story and production elements for this special episode.

Jorge Garcia Returns and Rob Corddry Guest Stars as the Fan-Voted Struggling Illusionist

Well, the choices were pretty limited, so it didn’t really matter if the viewers could really chose or not. If this was really written after any kind of vote or not, I leave that to you. Whatever you like to believe will be fine.

Personally, I didn’t care about any hype about this ‘voting’. All I really care about are well written episodes. Let’s find out if this one falls under that category.

Sorry, no rap-sheet to check out this time. But go over to AOLworldwide anyway. Always fun to visit.
