Welcome to our first “Discussion-Post”.
You probably ask yourself what that is. Well, since Hawaii Five-0 reached its tenth season, which is an amazing accomplishment, we thought it would be cool to celebrate this with a very active blog.
We plan to enjoy H50’s maybe last season to the fullest with reviews for every episode. And with lively discussions for various topics.
Ua ʻeha ka ʻili i ka maka o ka ihe
A new ally helps McGarrett and Five-0 when mob bosses on the island are being targeted by an assassin. Also, Five-0 says goodbye to one of their own, on the 10th season premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Sept. 27 at its new time (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Katrina Law joins the cast as Quinn Liu. Rob Morrow guest stars.

I loved this episode, it was exciting. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time (alright, nearly the whole time) because I so wanted them to get Aaron. Jerry was awesome! He really earned his place in this Elite Task Force. Can’t say that about everybody.
The moment in Steve’s office with Frank was wonderful. I thought Joe would want to get buried under his tree, but this was okay. The conversation between Steve and Frank made me tear up. Sniff.

I really liked this episode. Not as awesome as the last #24 episodes, that’s for sure, but entertaining.
But the pastry crime storyline? Not that much. Ridiculous. They have an emergency, one team member is already elsewhere, and Grover’s got the day off? Oh come on, show. Seems, they’ve got way too many folks around the magic table. Sometimes less is more. Let’s have a close look at the cliffhanger on Friday.

The last couple of weeks I have tried to come up with the time to add my two cents. Unfortunately that is not going to happen in the near future. So, enjoy Cokie’s solo review for the episode. I think she did a great job.

I was blown away by the last scenes of this episode. That was stellar acting by Kimee Balmilero and Alex O’Loughlin. This is what you get when you don’t catch the actors acting. Real acting is impossible to spot. And then it makes you feel something.
Steve has been through so much, suffered so much, almost his whole life consisting of pain, loss and struggle. And yet he remains such a warmhearted, empathic, giving, altruistic human. He is there for all the people who are in need of a shoulder to lean on.
And we buy it. We KNOW that Steve is this Steve, we KNOW that he is this remarkable man because of AOL. I can’t repeat it often enough. It’s not in the words, it’s in the play. Being emotional is not acting – but expressing emotions is. Alexpressions.

I never liked Mary, so, I couldn’t care less. One question, where is Joanie? Did they come to their senses and took the kid away from her?
“Hana Mao ‘ole ka ua o Waianae” – Five-0 continues to hunt down escaped criminal Aaron Wright (Joey Lawrence) before he can sell cyber-weapons to the highest bidder. Also, the lives of McGarrett and the team are put in danger when a visitor comes to headquarters to make amends, on the ninth season finale of HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, May 17 (at a special time, 10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Jimmy Buffett returns as Frank Bama.

Also, Junior speaks at the parole hearing of the drunk driver who killed his sister, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, May 10 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
