5.24 Charles William Edwards… Williams

Who’s Your Daddy?

OK, raise your hand if you saw this one coming three years ago…  I mean, really… I called it at the beginning of… was that REALLY Season 2?  I guess it was, Steve had just broken out of jail and they were driving around in Max’s yellow “Thing” with Steve looking all nice and luscious lying in the back seat. 🙂

Maybe it would be easier to count the small number if you asked who didn’t see this coming, Cokie. 😉 I mean, seriously, Mr. Lenkov, you call this shocking? How is this even news, much less shocking news? OK, sorry for the interruption, please continue…

5.25 Reunion

OK, here we go, second part of the week-long review posts.

Last year a huge part of my love for this show was left in a godforsaken country looking for a lost boy. I had been devastated that Steve yet again had lost an important person, someone he had known for many years. Who he knew long before we ever met Steve McGarrett.

He came back battered and bruised, and not just on the outside.

5.24 Wall of Silence

As promised here is the first day of celebrating what I loved about the two season-ending-episodes and Five-0 in general.

But I thought about it for a while and came to the conclusion, why not doing the celebration and the review at the same time? Since you are already commenting on the episodes we can also have the polls and I tell you what I thought about the one or other scene and the episode in general.

So, here we go with the first poll for 5.24 – Luapo’i / Prey

Celebrating Five-0

“Wow !”

That was the email Cokie sent me after seeing the last two episodes. You see, she can’t tell me much without spoiling it because I watch the eps a little later than she does. So, she has to be creative to tell me what she thought about it without giving anything away. And I have to tell you she always does a good job with that. 🙂

Five Years – part 5

Sadly, while writing the first four parts of this ‘look back’ I realized that season five simply couldn’t hold the high standard the previous seasons set for the show.

I know I have complained about a lot of things this season, about scenes, about character development, or the lack of. About rewriting Five-0 history, and about many other things. But I’ll do that purely out of love for the show. Despite all that is wrong with this season (at least in my eyes), Five-0 still is my favorite show. And I love it with all my heart.

Yes, the main reason, at times the only reason, for that is Steve McGarrett. And if he’s not himself because someone never ever watching an episode before wrote his charater 😉 than there is still Alex who always saves the day. His performances have always been flawless.

Thanks to AOLww (THE best place for all things AOL) for the wonderful pictures.

Five Years – part 3

So, after another long hiatus, and not knowing who would die and who would live (as if that was ever a question), season three started. And as the years before, they participated in a blessing ceremony. There were some really nice scenes and great interviews. Also later we got a nice SOTB, also with good interviews and great coverage of the event.
