10.02 – Kuipeia e ka makani apaa
Tani and Junior must plot an escape for themselves and several civilians after they become trapped inside a deadly tunnel collapse, while Five-0 investigates the cause and culprits of the cave-in. Also, Eddie uses his field experience and sniffs out a bomb that has been planted in McGarrett’s home.
CBS translated Kuipeia e ka makani apaa to Knocked flat by the wind; sudden disaster

“Ukuli‘i ka pua, onaona i ka mau‘u” – Five-0 enlists imprisoned hacker Aaron Wright (Joey Lawrence) to help when a young girl is reported kidnapped, but upon rescue, the culprits are dead, the girl is safe, and she’s not who she claims to be, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“Ukuli‘i ka pua, onaona i ka mau‘u” is Hawaiian for “Tiny is the flower, yet it scents the grasses around it.”)
I had to laugh when I read this. Seriously? Don’t they have any other IT specialists on the islands? Again Aaron Wright? Sigh.

Here is our next question for our discussion “forum”: What one thing would you have changed in the first nine years of H50? How would that have impacted how the story progressed?
OK, ONE thing is really hard to do, so we expand that to THREE things. 😉
Here are my three I would have changed.

10.01 Ua ʻeha ka ʻili i ka maka o ka ihe
A new ally helps McGarrett and Five-0 when mob bosses on the island are being targeted by an assassin. Also, Five-0 says goodbye to one of their own, on the 10th season premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Sept. 27 at its new time (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Katrina Law joins the cast as Quinn Liu. Rob Morrow guest stars.
CBS translated Ua ʻeha ka ʻili i ka maka o ka ihe to The skin has been hurt by the point of the spear

Our thanks go to Mamayorkie, who came up with a few interesting topics to discuss. The question for today’s discussion: Which character/(s) have proven to be the most ill conceived and unworthy of screen time?
Remember, play nice. 😉
About the above picture, I hope we will get some great new promo shots soon.

Earlier this week, the SOTB 2019 was held on Waikiki Beach. Oddly enough, as far as I heard, the stars didn’t sit through the screening. I am sure they had their reasons.
I am sure the private screening on Friday with Alex’s episode 10.07 was the much more interesting event anyway. 😉 (Check out Instagram for some very cool pictures and videos from the event)

10-03 “E uhi ana ka wa i hala i na mea i hala”
Five-0 investigates when a plane that mysteriously crashed into the Pacific in the ‘80s is found, but with a recently murdered scuba diver inside. Also, as MacGarrett and Quinn zero in on who planted the bomb in his garage, and he formally asks her to join Five-0, she is arrested for money laundering, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rob Morrow returns as Wes Cullen.
(“E uhi ana ka wa I hala I na mea I hala” is Hawaiian for “Passing time obscures the past”)

10-02 “Kuipeia e ka makani apaa”
Tani and Junior must plot an escape for themselves and several civilians after they become trapped inside a deadly tunnel collapse, while Five-0 investigates the cause and culprits of the cave-in. Also, Eddie the dog uses his field experience and sniffs out a bomb that has been planted in McGarrett’s home, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 4 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“Kuipeia e ka makani apaa” is Hawaiian for “Knocked flat by the wind; sudden disaster”)

Season ten is almost here, time to think about what the wishes for it are.
After being pretty disappointed with season nine, I have high hopes for season ten. Here are my wishes for the next season. This is not what I think will happen, but hope to see at least some of it.
