Also, Kono and Adam are finally reunited when he is released from prison, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Oct. 21 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

Honestly, I think these pictures look rather boring. Typical scene like we have seen many times before. On the other hand, these pics don’t give away much. So that is really good. No big spoilers in these. 🙂

“Ke Kū ‘Ana” is Hawaiian for “The Stand”

So, does this mean it is now four months after the events of 6.25? Kono mentioned that Adam would be released in 4 months, and that he expects to go surfing with Steve. I hope we will see that. 🙂

I’m not quite back to my normal lengthy reviews, but I will give it my best shot.

Some long months are finally over and we have our beloved show back. And I can finally rant and rave about what I loved, liked and what I think was ridiculous, stupid or otherwise didn’t meet my standards.

MacGyver 1.01

Don’t fear, this will not be a full review. 😉

So, now we have seen our new lead-in. Will it be a good match? I guess only time will tell.

I lasted all but fifteen minutes, then I had more than enough. I couldn’t stand the lead, I couldn’t stand the narrative, I couldn’t stand the use of every cliché in the book on this show. Give me a break, please.

For the cast and crew, I hope they will find their audience that will love them, support them and carry them through their first season.

But I will not be one of them.

I will, however, watch the second episode because I have learned that the pilot can often be deceiving. Not every show gets off with such a brilliant pilot like Five-0. Often the second episode is way better.

So, MacGyver will get one more shot.

 

Update on Sam

Hello all!   I heard from Sam a little bit ago.  She was out of surgery and back in her room, but the doctor or nurse hadn’t been in yet to speak with her.   Surgery was delayed a couple hours this morning, so everything was set back.  I will post later after I hear more from her but just wanted to let everyone know that surgery was over.
