Use an avatar

As you all know, if you don’t have your own avatar you will get a generated one next to your name. Some of them are nice, some of them not so much.

But there is an easy fix to that. You can create your own avatar in a matter of minutes. And with that you have a ‘face’ on almost every blog you comment on.

And don’t worry, it is really easy. You just need a picture you like to use and create an account at http://www.gravatar.com

You can use any square picture you like. The only thing you need to do is link your uploaded picture to the email you use to comment with. And don’t worry, you don’t have to make your contact information public. No one will see your address. If you don’t have a picture you want to use, feel free to use one of the provided ones. If you want, I can also create one for you. Just let me know what picture you would like to use as your avatar. It can be anything, with or without text, whatever you want.
