Checks Five-0h – Release 4.05

Here you go, let’s start with the voting.

Now let’s start with the episode review for 4.05 – Kupu’eu  – Fallen Hero

I think the expectations for this episode were almost as high as for 3.20, the episode that brought us the events that lead to the pilot and explained a lot about our SEAL. I also made the mistake to expect an equally epic episode, and was fairly disappointed. But let’s not jump the gun and try to forget what I expected and take a look at what the show actually gave us.

Maybe my verdict will be different at the end of this review than it was right after I watched the show for the first time. 😉

4×10 spoilers

Peter Lenkov and Larry Teng shared a lot of pictures from filming episode 4.10 on twitter with us.

It looks really great, I just hope that there will still be plenty of Five-0 in it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure this will be another spectacular episode, I’m just not too keen on watching a flashback episode with none of the main actors in it. So, I hope they will balance it out well. Knowing them though, they probably will.

They are almost done filming 4.10 as Larry Teng told today.

Checks Five-Oh – Release 4.04

FI 4-04

As always let’s start with the vote

4.04 – A ia la aku – From this Day Forward

or ‘Good Bye Wimp – Hello, Adam‘!

I don’t know who that wimp was, who was running around pretending to be Adam the last couple of episodes, but am I glad ‘my’ Adam of the old days is back. I just hope they will not again break character and forget that he grew up to be the boss of the Yakuza. He doesn’t need little Kono to protect him. Adam had always been a man knowing what to do, knowing how to lead a bunch of Yakuza, and suddenly he was this wimp who hid behind Kono’s skirt? I’m sorry, but that was SO out of character that it was ridiculous. I’m very happy they remembered who Adam is. Thank you, show, for remembering that and giving us Adam back.

FI 4-03

Two weeks into season four and we’re already done with three episodes. Before we even know it we’ll be watching the last episode before the Christmas break. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Let’s again start with the vote for 4.03 Ka ‘oia’i’o ma loko  (The Truth Within)

.

We start the show, like most episodes, with the crime of the week. Did the show ever start any different? Do any of you remember an episode that didn’t start with the COTW? No, previously on doesn’t count. 😉

So, our two future victims had obviously planned a fun night. That of course didn’t last long and they were murdered in a very cold hearted way. Which is kind of out of the norm for ‘art thieves’. But as we learn later they have no qualms about shooting up a museum full of people to get to their goal.

This was an interesting beginning and thankfully not too long. I never like long intros. I like it better when we simply start with the murder, and then learn about the people involved during the episode as they investigate. Showing almost five minutes of pre-show like in 3.04 is a waste of time in my eyes. That time could be used to show us the people we are really interested in. This time though it was shorter, so I’m not really complaining about it.

Pet Peeve

PetPeeve

A few months back, Sam asked if I wanted to post anything to the Mostly Five-0 blog and I said, “Sure.” But then I didn’t have a clue what to post.

After thinking about it over the summer, I came up with nothing. But then I watched Episodes 4.01 and 4.02 and I remembered my biggest PET PEEVE from Hawaii Five-0.

Please don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the show and these episodes (especially 4.01) were great… but there are always little things that bug us.   Right?  Please tell me I’m not the only one that gets bent out of shape.

No, Cokie, I assure you, you are not alone. 😉

Checks Five-0h – release 4.02

FI 4-02

Okay, before we start here again the explanation what Checks Five-0h means. For everyone who didn’t read it last week.

Checks Five-Oh is a Navy-term and basically means: Excellent, in proper working order. Things can also be repaired and gotten into proper working order and then referred to as “checks five-oh.” Derives from the 5-point evaluation system used in the Navy, in which a score of five is given to individuals who perform exceptionally well.

So, now with that out of the way, let’s start as usual with the poll. Let us know what you thought of Friday’s episode.

I was groaning when I heard ‘previously on Hawaii Five-0’ and thought ‘Oh please, not again’. But at least this time it was ‘only’ forty five seconds. But still, I could do without it. I truly hope they will stop with that now. Enough is enough.

Hawaii Five-0’s new ride

Thanks to TV Guide we get an exclusive look at the cool new car. Nope, not gonna call it Danny’s ride, since he’s probably not gonna drive it anyway. 🙂

See the original article here!

New Car 2

Not everyone made it out of last week’s Hawaii Five-0 Season 4 premiere alive. Among the casualties was Danny’s (Scott Caan) beloved silver Camaro, which was blown up by Henry Ian Cusick’s terrorist ringleader. But don’t worry, he and McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) haven’t had their last cargument — and TVGuide.com has an exclusive first look at Danny’s new wheels. (See photos below).

“We get a better one. We get a faster one,” O’Loughlin recently told TVGuide.com about the show’s latest addition — a black five-speed Camaro. “It’s a bad bitch, man. I’ve gotten it sideways a few times. … It’s pretty amazing.”

But who will be behind the wheel primarily? “I’m not ready to let him drive it because he’s not responsible,” O’Loughlin says. “First of all, he can’t drive stick and it’s a stick. So that should be the end of this f—ing thing. But it’s not. He rides the clutch. He grinds the gears. It’s like, if he would just get a little humble and just ask me, I’ll teach him how to drive it. And when he does, I’ll give him the keys back.”

Check out Danny’s new wheels below. What do you think of the car?
